ROSY
Respite for Oxfordshire’s Sick Youngsters (ROSY) is an appeal of Oxford Health Charity (OHC) charity number 1057285 and is dedicated to deliver additional respite care to Oxfordshire's terminally ill, acute and chronically sick children, who are nursed in their own homes.
For parents and families looking after their loved ones is a relentless 24/7 cycle of care. This is where ROSY comes in, we support by funding caregivers (nurses, health care assistants, physiotherapists etc) to provide additional respite care to the youngsters themselves. All ROSY activities enhance statutory NHS care and enable more children and families to receive important respite care.
At the festival, they will have an area for colouring cards and writing messages of support for the ROSY children. They will also have information on the ROSY appeal, how people can donate online, and how people get involved.
