SHADEEMUS

The Psychedelic Space group SHADEEMUS, has its roots firmly planted in humble beginnings when original members Scott Xylo (Shaquille Thompson) and Adeemus (Adam Martin) met whilst working together in a Leicester coffee shop. Over the last drops of cappuccinos and their shared love of psychedelic rock, January 2020 saw the creation of a pretty tasty fusion - SHADEEMUS.

The band added their third member, Demigosh (Ade Balogun) an Irish Nigerian vocalist and performance artist, in February 2020 after meeting at a gig in November 2019. The addition of vocals from DemiGosh alongside Xylo's sampling & bass with Adeemus on guitar has created a harmonious blend of alternative psychedelic rock, funk and soul, which birthed their debut single "Desert Days". After a total of 2 days, the group created their Dune inspired debut EP Arakis setting the story to follow. The EP gained support from BBC Introducing, British Arts Council, BBC 1xtra and BBC Radio 1 following. In 2021, SHADEEMUS released three EP's 'ATLANTIS' 'EDEN 'and 'SOLARIS'. All three have seen support from Spotify's New Music Friday & Worldwide FM's Rotations playlist. Further nods from Jamz Supernova via BBC 6 music, Majestic Casual, Jazz FM and NTS.
