The ‘Saronde’ sound was born from many journeys and musical collaborations through 5 African countries between 2016 and 2020, fusing ancient sounds with modern musical concepts.

Chris Pedley ignited airwaves in 2019 (6 Music Gilles Peterson, Cerys Matthews, Tom Ravenscroft and Radio Nova France) and festival stages (Glastonbury, Boomtown, Elrow, Osheaga) in 2019 with his unique productions featuring cutting edge African artists such as Idd Aziz, Blinky Bill and Nazizi, all fused with an original New Forest musical twist.
