The Soul Food Café

with Self Space

Self Space are a contemporary mental health service offering a good conversation with a qualified person. Their mission is to positively transform the culture around mental health by supporting people to reach their full potential and one day they do this is through their Walk Clubs.

New for Wilderness 2025, they’ll be bringing these to the fields of Cornbury Park. Guided by qualified therapists (and fellow amateur walkers), everyone will be assigned a walking partner and will be given a set of conversation prompts to facilitate a walkie talkie. Deep & meaningfuls, on foot.

The Walk & Brunch Club is an experience of 2 halves, from 09:00-10:00 you'll enjoy your chosen Self Space guided walk, before heading back to our hub of wholesome, The Soul Food Café (your meeting and start point) for the perfect brunch to start your day from 10:15-11:15.

Come as strangers, and leave as friends. Better yet, friends who brunch together after!

With three session styles to choose from, pick your vibe and book below!

“Walking, ideally, is a state in which the mind, the body, and the world are aligned, as though they were three characters finally in conversation together, three notes suddenly making a chord. Walking allows us to be in our bodies and in the world without being made busy by them. It leaves us free to think without being wholly lost in our thoughts.” ― Rebecca Solnit, Wanderlust: A History of Walking

Please note: Meet at The Soul Food Café 15 minutes before the session starts and your guide will meet you there to start the walk.

Why not also explore Self Space’s series of free but bookable workshops, running all weekend long in The Mindful Space.

Please note - you must have a weekend festival ticket to book an experience at Wilderness.
