The Studio

Kage began his journey as a professional singer, dancer, actor and model.

Teaching fitness has always been a passion of his. In between his theatre and modelling jobs, he teaches dance to kids and professionals in training. He began teaching barre for BLOK in 2019 then went to Thailand for his yoga teacher training, qualifying in October of that year. Since then he's been very lucky to lead regular classes for Retroglow Studios, Discobarre, The Refinery, Boxx, LIM Studios, Benk + Bo, POPfit – and of course BLOK where it all began. Kage's classes are fun, upbeat, challenging and empowering.

"I want to instil you with confidence as I push you – so that you believe in yourself and feel confident as you can go harder. With lots of high energy, positivity, good vibes and banter, we will smash it together!"

Barre With Kage Douglas

A ballet-based workout to work the entire body using no equipment/weights. You may think this class may not be as challenging and it’s all about flexibility due to it being based around ballet but you couldn’t be more wrong. This class sets those muscles on fire, sculpting and toning the body, working those tiny muscles you didn’t know you had. With an upbeat playlist you wont be able to stop yourself from smiling through the burn. Everyone and anyone is welcome.

Dance with Kage Douglas

This is the class where you can feel the ultimate fantasy and where that inner pop star diva can be released. This class beginnings with a dance aerobic warm-up and then some follow-along dance moves to get you into the grove. Then we start to pull some real shapes and turn that sass to 100 as I teach a short routine so you can live your best life. I will break the routine down and teach it slowly then we speed up. This class is suitable for everyone, no previous dance experience required.

Power Yoga with Kage Douglas

Power yoga is a strength based practice, flowing from one pose to the next working with the breath at a steady pace. Holding poses for longer to really concentrate on alignment to get the full benefits of the pose and avoiding injuries. It will be a fun upbeat class, not taking life too seriously, improving flexibility, strength, core, stamina and most importantly focus, using your breath.

Please note - you must have a weekend festival ticket to book an experience at Wilderness.
