On screen, Daniel has performed on BBC One and BBC Three as part of the BBC New Comedy Awards.

On stage, he has endeared himself to audiences around the UK, provided tour support for Josh Widdicombe and Sofie Hagen, and garnered a host of accolades including a Writers’ Guild Award nomination, Winner of the Brighton Fringe Award for Excellence, and Finalist in the Chortle Student Comedy Awards. Whether it’s growing up gay, pop culture or politics, Daniel uses a light touch and a quick wit to find humour in unexpected places.

As well as stand-up, Daniel also writes plays, screenplays, and musical theatre. He is co-writer of Fat Rascal Theatre with frequent collaborator, Robyn Grant. Their most recent projects include Unfortunate: The Untold Story of Ursula the Sea Witch, one of Underbelly Festival’s 2022 Headline Shows, which was previously a sell-out hit at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2019 and was named Theatre Weekly’s Best Musical of the Fringe. Unfortunate earned Foxx and Grant a nomination for Best Musical Theatre Book Writing at the Writers’ Guild of Great Britain Awards 2020.
