In The Wild

Butterfly Conservation is the UK charity dedicated to saving butterflies, moths and our environment. Our research provides advice on how to conserve and restore habitats. We run projects to protect more than 100 threatened species and we help connect people to nature for the benefit of their own wellbeing and that of the planet’s. Our vision is a world where butterflies and moths thrive and can be enjoyed by everyone, forever.

Moth night workshops - A dusk to dark workshop focused on the secret lives of moths. Learn all about moths and why they matter as we explore the forest in search of them. These sessions will involve live moths and walking between different ‘light stations’ to discover the moths and caterpillars that thrive in the dark.

Butterfly ID workshop - A guided ‘walk and talk’ style workshop giving participants the opportunity to learn about butterflies while exploring the forest in search of them.
