Bower Street Morris

Margate’s premier* high leaping morris team! Formed out of a fever dream at a folk festival, Bower Street perform the traditional dances of the Gloucestershire village of Bledington alongside a few they made up. Look out for the flash of white, the bright orange and teal ribbons and their very loud bells.

Bower Street are a very queer, young team who believe the word ‘folk’ includes everyone! They’re often seen hopping around their native Margate, host club nights there and have appeared at festivals and gigs all over the country. This is Bower Street’s second appearance at Wilderness and, for the sake of their white kit, are hoping for glorious sunshine this year.
